Our mission is to advance education by providing funds for students who wish to go to college who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
OUR STUDENTS
We are presently funding five students who are attending college in Cambodia.
We hope to add five more students each academic year.
OUR STORY
After the passing of Dith Pran, Titony, Titonath and David decided to start a foundation to help educate Cambodian students in Pran's honor.
WHO WE ARE
Our foundation is made up of two of Dith Pran's sons, and five other dedicated people working towards providing rural students the opportunity for a higher education.
The Dith Pran Foundation is in honor of Dith Pran, (who as a survivor of what he called the 'Killing Fields') promised, if he survived, to tell the world about the fate of the Cambodian people under the brutal regime of the Khmere Rouge. His mission and his message was to make sure this never happens again.
While he was a photojournalist for the New York Times he often spoke to the younger generation educating them about his story and his mission.
