Voeurn Sovann

My name is Voeurn Sovann, a male of Khmer nationality, born on April 27, 2003. Currently, I reside in Sre Chi Pov village, Meanchey commune, Samlot district, Battambang province. On April 5, 2022, I successfully graduated from high school with excellent results, achieving a joint A grade.

My father works as a small farmer, while my mother is a dedicated housewife. With four siblings in the family, our financial situation is challenging.

I am currently studying at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC).


 

Nuth Sreynoch

My name is Nuth Sreynoch, and I am an 18-year-old residing in Prek Sno village, Prek Khpob commune, Ek Phnom district, Battambang province. Being the youngest among my seven siblings, I rely solely on my mother for support as my father passed away four years ago.

I dedicated three years of my time as a volunteer teacher at Development for Children Cambodia (DCC). Through this role, I actively participated in teaching activities, focusing on helping students with their reading and writing skills before they returned to public school.

In 2019, I emerged as the winner of the national Technovation Girls competition, with support from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports. This achievement allowed me to partake in various social endeavors such as tree planting, garbage collection, and assisting in the construction of toilets for underprivileged families. Additionally, prior to Khmer New Year celebrations, I collaborated with local philanthropists to distribute gifts to elderly individuals and impoverished families.

Driven by a strong passion for learning, I aspire to study English as my major.


 

Heng Sreylen

My name is Heng Srey Len, an 18-year-old student with a strong determination to achieve my goals. I come from a family of seven children, and I am the sixth child. My parents, aged 64 and 59, work as hardworking farmers. They have always emphasized the challenges of being farmers, including the struggle to make ends meet. They have expressed their desire for me to have a better future, encouraging me to pursue a good job. With their support and encouragement, I have dedicated myself to studying diligently, aiming to make them proud.


 

Doem Koemhorn

I grew up in a poor family and was in an orphanage. My parents' divorced.

In the 12th grade, I faced a crucial milestone—the high school diploma exam, and I achieved commendable scores in Math, Khmer, Biology, History, and Physics.

I am currently enrolled at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, and embarking on a dual journey of basic education and electrical engineering.


 

Ben Rathana

My name's Ben Rathana and I'm 17 years old. I'm a student in grade 12 in Sreng Kim High School. We are a family of three, my father, my mother, and myself. I live with my parents in North Srange Village, Srange Commune, Prey Chhor District,  Kampong Cham Province. My mother and father are both in sales. They have always supported me even though they are poor. They both now have physical illnesses. I am looking forward to attending the Institute of Technology of Cambodia


 

Loh piseth

My name is Lonh Piseth, I am 17 years old and I was born in Sat Pong commune Sat Pong  Chhouk district Kampot province. I just passed the Bac-II exam with grade B. My favorite subjects are mathematics, physics, and chemistry. 

In my free time I play football (soccer) and go to the lab to help teachers and at the same time learn something new from them.

My goal is to become a Line Manager in a factory doing robotics and automation.

I would also like to study supply chain and Automation System Engineering in the international program at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP).

My name is Ny Manith, I'm a male and I have 18 years old and I was born on April 21, 2005.  I'm studying in grade 12th at Banoy High School. I was ranked 6th out of 31 students in the class.  I have one brother ,Ny Mantuth, and one sister Ny Srey Pov.  Both my mother, Soem Taing Lor, and my father, Moeung Samnang are farmers. I live in Phsa Chre village, Angkanh commune, Prey Kabas district, Takeo province. I have just finished high school , and I am planning on studying civil engineering at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. I want to study at university because I can find a good job after I finish so I can  help my family as well as the Cambodian society.


 

Sun Sokunthea

My Name is Sun Sokunthea.
I’m 18 years old. I come from Trapeang Rung Village, Sragne Commune, Prey Chor District, in Kampong Cham Province.

I studied at Sreng Kim High School, where I consistently ranked among the top five students from grades 7 to 12. In grade 12, I placed 4th in a district-level math competition and was selected to compete at the provincial level, though I didn’t pass that round. In the most recent Bac II exam, I received a C grade overall (Math B, Khmer C, Physics A, Biology D, Chemistry B, and English F).

I come from a big family of ten people: my grandmother, my parents, four brothers, two sisters, and me. My father, Suy Seng, is 62 years old, and my mother, Horn Srey, is 60. Both are farmers. My mother suffers from knee pain, and she also takes care of her elderly mother. Despite their age and health challenges, my parents have always supported my education.

Currently, I’m studying Architecture at the Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA) in Phnom Penh. Since I don’t have a house in the city and my family doesn’t have much money, I live at Preah Putt Mean Bon Pagoda. I commute to university by using my father’s motorbike.


 

An Sokkeang

My name is An Sokkeang, and I am 18 years old. I previously studied at Sreng Kim High School, where I consistently ranked between 10th and 17th in my class. In my Baccalaureate exams, I received a Grade C overall with the following subject scores: Math (B), Khmer (B), Physics (C), Biology (F), Chemistry (D), English (F), and History (C).

I am originally from Tumpeang Russey Village, Somrong Commune, Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province. My father, Eng Sokkan, passed away in 2018. My mother, Chin Sarin, is 55 years old and a housewife. I have two brothers and two sisters.

Currently, I live in Phnom Penh and study at the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA). Since I don’t own a house in Phnom Penh and have limited financial resources, I share a rented room with my brother. I commute to university by motorbike.


 

Chanthy KEOTHAN

I was born in Thmey Kandal Village, Preah Theat Commune, Oraing Ov District, Kampong Cham Province. My parents, Noeun Chanthy (44) and Nil Sophon (43), are both farmers. My family currently resides in Sre Krasaing Village, Sre Krasaing Commune, Siem Bok District, Stung Treng Province.

On October 8, 2024, I passed the Baccalaureate exam in Cambodia with an A grade, achieving top marks in Mathematics, Khmer, Biology, and Physics. I also earned a B in Chemistry and History.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (Techno School) in a five-year program. While studying in Phnom Penh, I reside at the Techno Dormitory.


 

Sanh Daneth

My name is Sanh Daneth. I am 18 years old and I was born in Satpong Village, Satpong Commune, Chhouk District, Kampot Province.

I graduated from grade 12 in 2024 with a C grade. My family has four members, including two children. I am the second child. My mother is a noodle seller and my father is a farmer.

Today, I have come to Phnom Penh to continue my studies at Norton University. I am majoring in Accounting.
